Which is the best Dell laptop?

I found a website where I can buy a Dell business laptop for relatively cheap but I'm wondering which is the best. They have a lot of different models of the Latitude. Has anyone use one and can you tell me if they're any good and which Latitude model you'd recommend. They also have Vostro's. Are they any good?

Answer:

that all depends on what you want to use it for Example
Gamers need laptops with larger displays and graphics memory system memory and processing power and larger hard drives which makes for a larger heavier laptop i have repaired and sold thousands of different laptops and desktops i am also a certified dell technician but what will be best for you all depends on what you plan to do with it day to day also i agree dell products are not the best and they tend to break relatively easy plus the parts are a bit more costly if your looking for a good cheap general laptop for chatting and internet i would suggest an acer or hp if your looking for gaming i'de suggest alienware and if your looking for something for bussiness most young professionals lately are switching to mac books but if you really want a dell i'de go with a vostro i havent had alot of the vostro laptops but alot of the companies i work with have switched to the vostro desktops which seem to hold up alot better then the deminsions desktops do

Dells are terrible. They are not made to last. Cheap parts mean a short life. Dont buy a business computer. They are usually left on 24/7 and are internally run down. Business computers are usually very underpowered also. I work on computers and i usually see Dells, Hps, and Acers roll in the door. Dells by far and away are the worst. Poor designs lead to the computer breaking within a year in some cases. I would suggest going with Toshiba/sony/apple/gateway. Gateways and Toshiba will be the cheapest. Try to find one with Intel dual core 2.2 or higher, with atleast 4 gigs of ram. You can get a good laptop for about 450 at bestbuy. Good Luck, avoid Dell.

My opinion: Dell is not the best. I have a Dell Latitude E6500, and its broken several times. I'd recommend either an HP or Asus or Acer, but not Dell.
