How do I make my PS3 wireless?
Okay, so it's not my PS3, it's my younger brother's. But I do want it to be wireless anyway.
We have only one laptop in the house, that's all. We have at&t and we use a modem. We recently bought a basic Linksys router. I had to call technical support to set it up; that was stressful..
My brother was going to keep the PS3 in his room but he got Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and now he wants to play on-line. Ugh. more problems. He scanned the house for the wireless router, it found linksys but it kept on failing. Now my brother plays his PS3 in the livingroom and he connects the Ethernet cable to it. This way, I can't go online on our wired laptop because he took the ethernet cable out of the router. we also can't watch TV because he's on it all the time! (only 2 tvs in the house, 1 in my dads room). And the reason I can't go on the internet on the laptop is because I need a wireless adapter to put in the usb port. This is getting really annoying…So my main question is, how do I get this PS3 to have wireless internet!? do I need a wireless usb adapter for that too?! Help me! please?
my wired mouse wont work on my laptop?

Why does my laptop have trouble making a wireless connection and keeping it?
My laptop has trouble connecting to my home wireless connection and when it does connect it is "very low" and only for a couple of minutes. My roommates laptop and my PS3 have no problems connecting with my wireless.

My Northgate Windows XP computer. Its connected to a Westell wirespeed modem. My Internet is Verizon broadband via Ethernet. I want to make a home wireless network, what do I need. My laptops have wifi LAN.
What is a dongle for? wireless network help please!?
I just recently got a new pc computer but it does not have any type of wireless connection. I have a router at my house so I can get internet to my laptop with, but I need to know what I need to buy to get wireless internet on my new pc with. Does this make sense? Anywhoooooo- someone told me to buy a dongle and that would allow me to access my internet wirelessly on my new pc. What is a dongle and is this correct? What is the difference between a dongle and a usb wireless adapter?
